Herman was born in 1964, in Gallup, NM. He learned silversmithing from his mother. He is known for his detailed and unique stamp work which is created by using very few stamps. He is a known local artist, and his jewelry is very popular in his hometown.


Stone:Lone Mountain Turquoise (Nevada)
In the 1960s, Lone Mountain was converted to a small open pit operations by Menliss Winfield.This mine once produced a great variety of turquoise, included some of the finest examples of spider web turquoise as well as clear, deep-blue stones.
(Still active, but the color now are more lighter blue)
