Traditional Ingot Silver Heavy Bracelet.

John hand stamped this bracelet with a simple design, but the silver is all melted from pieces of silver. He kneels it down, hammers it and make into shapes with 1920's old techniques.

This bracelet is set with Natural Godber turquoise from 1970's that compliments the silver work.

Stone: Natural Godber Turquoise from Nevada

The Godber mine, discovered in 1932, is located east of Austin, Nevada. The turquoise ranges from medium to dark blue, usually with a beautiful spider webbing. It has also been know for a very dark or black mottling forming, blotches and veins running through the stone.

Artist: John Michael Lister (Navajo)

His father is really traditional artist, Ernie Lister. His father's jewelry is made by the 1920 to 1940 method of Navajo silversmithing. He always starts from a silver coin or ingot silver, then he uses charcoal and hammer to make his designs. John Michael continues his techniques with his new design.
